About CUBE
A Jordanian architectural practice based in Amman, working across architecture, interior design, landscape and urban-scale projects.
History
CUBE Architects was founded in 2005 by architects Ashraf Damisi and Akram Damisi under the name Rewaq, an Arabic term for the arcade. The practice later became CUBE Architects.
Its company folio describes work ranging from buildings and offices to living environments, landscape and urban master plans, with work undertaken internationally.
The phrase Think out of the BOX reflects the practice’s stated approach to design.
Design approach
Functionality drives the design toward a form that serves the client and the building.
Simplicity is paired with careful attention to detail rather than decorative complexity.
Client needs, local urban fabric and cultural traditions remain part of the design response.
Architecture is treated as a committed design process, not merely the act of drawing a line.
Founders
The founders established the practice in Amman and developed CUBE around an approach that links function, simplicity, context and architectural expression.
